The Steelers moved into Heinz Field for the 2001 season. The stadium is located across the river from the Golden Triangle at the confluence, right next to PNC Park and the site of the old Three Rivers Stadium. The stadium seats 65,050.
Be sure to get your beer on Saturday; there is no liquor sales on Sunday in Pennsylvania. You'll have to visit a state-run store.
You need to get there basically when the lots open 5 hours before game time. If it's 1:00pm game start the lots open at 8am if it is 4:15pm start the lots open at 11:15am. Your best bet is to try to get a parking pass on ebay if ya can. Or try the Blue North Canal Lot, that is open to the public, but you got to get there at 8am. If you are just joining a tailgate, you can park in any of the Parking garages.
Suggestion is to park your car at station square and take the ferry over. There are places to park depending upon how much you want to spend, if your from out of state, don't worry they will let you in, if you are in line
